a long, loose fitting coat with a large front overlap and two-button closure. the collar can be turned up and secured by a button panel and there are two side pockets, whose flaps extend onto the back to create a storm shield. the coat also has a half-lining, two welted inside pockets and a vent in the centre back, as well as in the sleeve front. the storm shield and the sleeve cuffs are decorated with ruched wool voile inserts. the main fabric is a medium weight dark grey/ black wool herringbone by Harris Tweed™.
